The Women In My Life

As Bradley would say, Evelyn's Sumbadum Thighs

I'm such a lucky man.

How many other guys have such pretty women in their lives?

"No, Daddy, of course I don't have a poo poo in my pants. Cute lil' ol me?"

Bethany eats more ice cream than me, yet I'm the one that's always in need of a diet!

"Mmmmm.....nuh nuh and green beans......nuh nuh and green beans.....mmmmm"

"Does this hat make me look fat?"

What a cutie!

It's always a feast at the Swalbergs' house

Found: Little rolly polly butter ball, no tags, very friendly.

I've been teaching Bradley the finer arts of picking up chicks. "Hey Baby! Give me five, sugar! Do you dig my shades?"

Aren't I such a lucky man?

Happy Second Birthday Bradley!

I can't believe that Bradley is TWO already! His birthday was this past Wednesday. Unfortunately, he was SICK on his birthday. Oh no! He went to the doctor today and got some medicine, so hopefully he'll be better shortly.

Ironically, the phrase he learned on his birthday was, "MY toy..." or "My bat Evie!" (He calls Evelyn "E-V" these days.)

Bradley's favorites at the age of two:

Dump trucks, firetrucks, garbage trucks (he is fascinated how it actually eats up the garbage).

He LOVES his bat! Before we got him one for his birthday, he was using sticks, paper towel tubes or anything that remotely resembled a bat. One of his favorite past times is playing baseball with daddy. We just have to be careful with Evelyn around! He's actually pretty good, and can hit a ball every once in a while. Oh, the funny part is--he has found one of my old gardening gloves and pretends that it is his baseball mitt. Whenever he hits the ball, he then drops the bat and runs all around the house. We assume that he is trying to run the bases. :)

Even though Bradley was sick, we still had to celebrate and go to Grandma and Grandpa Snow's house for dinner. He LOVED blowing out the candles. And much to my surprise, he actually ate the cupcake. (Earlier in the day, he just licked the frosting off with his finger)

On to the pictures! There should be lots of great ones in this batch. I'll start with his birthday, and work backwards.

Check out these Sunglasses! Whoo! Hot stuff there little man! (Bradley LOVES sunglasses. We can't pass any at Meijers without a temper tantrum. He got his second pair for his 2nd birthday...he seems to really like them. You'll notice them throughout the day)

More Sunglasses

Now to the good part, OPENING PRESENTS!!! (While Evelyn is chowing down the peas)

Bradley is butterfly hunting...

Evelyn likes noodles!

She can crawl now!
Bradley likes to swim in the tub :)

Bradley is a little fish! He loves his goggles! We go swimming once a week, and they both LOVE it!

Summer Fun

Wow, we're well into July now. Just 10 more days until Bradley turns two! He's the best little boy in the world. Little Evelyn is really developing some great motor skills. She has been practicing push-ups recently in an effort to compete with her Aunt Amy in the next talent show. You can see those in the video below. She's the best little girl in the world.

Bradley loves fruit smoothies (perhaps too much)

Bradley loves to ride the horse at Meijer and also the Daddy Horse.
Unfortunately he also thought he could ride Evelyn!

Bradley and his cousin Daniel at a huge mega play structure

Bradley made some new friends at the petting farm

Bradley's future profession

Just look at the intensity of his puddle jumping...he even has professional puddle shoes

Don't tell Grandma...we're stealing her raspberries! We had to be careful because Bradley liked them so much that he would pick nasty ones up off the ground and eat them when we weren't paying attention.

On to the movies!
